Wonderful inner city craft beer bar and restaurant. At least 40 different and unique craft beers. Different styles from ales, to wheats, to IPAs to BBA stouts! Their wings were coated and actually, meat fell off of the bone! Wonderful decor or lighted liquor bottles and all sorts of Cleveland athlete bobbleheads on display
Great drinks, attentive bar service, delicious burger (per my hubby), and fresh, hand-cut fries (not greasy and perfectly cooked). The cajun wings were crispy and well seasoned (not spicy at all), but had too much fat on them. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. The fries were my favorite.
Have been living in Cleveland since 2021 downtown for four years and this is hands down the best bar downtown. The staff, food, and atmosphere are always just what you need.
The bar has a great variety of beers, through the spectrum of styles. I took 2 milkshake smoothie beers that were amazing. The bartenders know a lot about beers, and looked very professional making cocktails.
Great spot to watch games, or pre-game before a game or concert. There is a big beer list with a bunch of local ones. The food is standard bar food...liked the Fire Breather Burger. Service is pretty quick and attentive. Plenty of TVs around. Decent amount of seating inside and some outside...but definitely gets crowded pre-game. I go pretty often.

City Tap FTW! Only bar downtown that is open 365 days a year and stays open til 2:30AM no matter what. Shout out to Steve! Best bartenders in the biz! Every single one of them are top notch. I’ve been coming here since 2017. Truly the best of the best!
Great beer selection!! The divey sports bar atmosphere made us hesitant to get food but the wings were some of the best Ive had. Night time customer service was terrible but day time was super great!
On July 11, 2026 I ate honey mustard bone-in wings and fries. I was in town riding with Cleveland Bike Life. There was approximately 30 of us who came in at one time. The bar staff were nice, attentive, and very professional. They told us it would be a wait but I got my food in record time. The wings and fries were hot and GREAT!!!!! I really enjoyed the food and they way the bar staff kept checking in to see if I was good. I would absolutely come here again.
I've been going to City Tap since the night I turned 21 and I'm now 35 it's always been a great place to chill have fun with friends play pool, watch the games, get drinks and food I love it here. They Have The Best Hot Wings in Cleveland!!!!!!!!!!! I mean it, it's one of the things that's been drawing me back all these year's even after I stopped drinking alcohol, I introduced my Wife to the food here as well and we've never stopped going to get food from here even when we moved further away I will make a long trip just for the Wings.
